Last Ninja fan art
The opening track on The 8bit Spindle and a nice mellow groove to get you started. This track is from the first in a series of three Last Ninja games for the Commodore 64. I never much played any of the series and I thought way back then that the music was rather grating.
It wasn’t until I had the idea of doing this album that I relistened to the music in Last Ninja, that I ‘got’ what Ben Daglish was trying to accomplish. The game has quite a few tracks but the one that stood out the most to me was track three, “The Wilderness”. Still, for my take on this track, I decided that lounge mix would help me forget the opinion I had as a boy.
